Purpose:
To provide training for US Green Building Council LEED Green Associate credential for LDD staff involved in project development and grant packaging.
Proposed Session Topics/Activities:
US Green Building Council LEED Green Associate training – energy efficient / environmentally sustainable building design and development. Topics include:
· Introduction to green building principles and the fundamentals of the LEED Rating System.
· Climate change and building impacts;
· Motivators for green building;
· Conventional versus integrative approaches - and the associated benefits - to building design, construction and operations.
Participants will leave this course with a basic understanding of the intent, concepts and terms for each LEED credit category, as well as green building best practices, regulations and incentives. |

· ‘How Did you Fund It?” – (highlighting LDDs with ‘interesting’ or ‘unusual’ Data Sets and the mechanism for funding/gathering that information)
· LDD Data Set Inventory Viewer unveiled – Tuesday Morning – Facilitated Conversation about next steps for the Viewer and the group

Innovative Finance Retreat |
